Illegality’s Consequences
Re “Deadly Journey of Hope,” Oct. 13: Another tale of woe regarding the dangers of coming here illegally on the front page of The Times. Mexico is not part of the U.S. There is a way to come here and avoid the dangers of the desert -- through the legal immigration process. I do not feel guilty about those who suffer while breaking our laws in order to circumvent this process.
