Pittsburgh owner-captain Mario Lemieux said he won’t play for Canada in February’s Winter Olympics after his latest medical scare.

Lemieux talked publicly Saturday for the first time since being hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat last week.

Making an unexpected visit to the Penguins’ game-day practice at home, Lemieux, 40, said he hopes to be back on the ice within a week.
