PLAYOFF POSSIBILITIES
Chicago, Carolina, Jacksonville, Washington, Tampa Bay and the New York Giants can clinch playoff spots this weekend, joining the five teams already in.
AFC
* Indianapolis, Cincinnati and New England have clinched their divisions and the Colts have also clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Denver (11-3) is assured at least a wild-card spot and can clinch the West by winning at home Saturday against Oakland.
* Jacksonville can earn a wild-card spot with a victory at Houston. The Jaguars also can get in if they lose and Kansas City and Pittsburgh are beaten.
NFC
* Seattle has clinched the West and can clinch home field by beating Indianapolis in Seattle on Saturday, or by a Chicago loss.
* Chicago can clinch the North with a victory or tie Sunday at Green Bay or with a Minnesota loss or tie. In the event of a loss, the Bears can still clinch a wild-card berth if Washington or Tampa Bay loses
* New York can clinch the East with a victory at Washington on Saturday. In the event of a loss, the Giants can still clinch a wild-card berth if either Minnesota loses at Baltimore on Sunday or Tampa Bay loses and Chicago wins.
* Washington can earn a wild-card spot by beating the Giants and losses by Dallas, Minnesota and Atlanta.
* Carolina can clinch the South with a victory over Dallas at home on Saturday combined with a Tampa Bay victory over Atlanta.
* Tampa Bay can clinch a wild-card berth with a win and losses by two of the following teams: Dallas, Washington or Minnesota. They can also clinch with a win combined with a Chicago win and Dallas loss, or with a win and a Chicago win and Washington loss.
