Veterans Day holiday closures
The following schedule will be in effect today in observance of Veterans Day:
Schools: Public schools will be closed. Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine will not hold classes, but offices will be open. Chapman University will hold classes.
Mail: There will be no delivery, and post offices will be closed.
Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule. Information: (714) 636-RIDE.
Metrolink: Trains will run on normal schedules.
Libraries: Most will be closed.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Trash collection: Most pick-ups will not be delayed. Check with local department for collection schedules.
Government: Most city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed. Exceptions are Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo and San Clemente city halls.
