Two teenagers in critical condition after shooting

Two teenagers remained hospitalized in critical condition Sunday evening after a shooting that investigators suspect was gang-related.
Two males fired multiple gunshots as they approached another group about 8:30 p.m. Saturday near Sherman Way and Independence Avenue, police said.
Two victims -- 14 and 16 -- remained in critical condition with chest and abdomen wounds, said Rebecca Bitner of Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
A third victim was in stable condition, said Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez.
No arrests had been made.
