Pilot identified in fatal copter crash

The pilot of the sightseeing helicopter that crashed Saturday morning on Catalina Island has been identified as Emeric Maillet, 33, of Lakewood, a Los Angeles County coroner’s official said Monday.
Maillet and two passengers were killed and three people were injured when the helicopter crashed near Two Harbors on the remote west side of the island.
The deceased passengers have not yet been identified.
