Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith selling home for $42 mil? No.

Jada Pinkett and Will Smith say that, despite rumors to the contrary, they are not selling their Calabasas-adjacent home, which they took seven years to build and have lived in for two.

A “whisper listing” turned up a $42-million asking price, the Real Estalker claimed. Word of a possible sale revived talk of the couple divorcing. But a representative of the Smiths told the Daily Mail there had been no whispers, and the couple was staying put.

The September 2011 issue of Architectural Digest featured the 25,000-square-foot home, calling it a “deeply personal” project for the pair. The compound, in the Santa Monica Mountains near Calabasas, is home to the couple and children Jaden, now 15; Willow, 12; and Will’s son Trey, 20, from a previous marriage.

Jada Pinkett Smith told the publication the project was a “spiritual endeavour.” The home features antique carved panels and doors they’ve collected from the Southwest as well as the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The space, with “secret nooks and tranquil alcoves,” the Digest reported, was designed with curves to flow -- creating, as Will Smith said, “an infinite cycle” to represent the couple’s love.

In a 2011 interview with “Today,” the Digest’s Margaret Russell said virtually everything was handmade in the house. Russell said the home had no hard edges and, despite its square footage, managed to be intimate. Jada Pinkett Smith has a meditation room, and Russell said Will’s favorite spot was a gazebo on the grounds. The house also includes a walk-through shower that leads to a private terrace.
