Actor Jim Belushi has listed a house in Brentwood for long-term lease at $16,000 a month.
The Mediterranean-style home, built in 1928 and designed by White House decorator Michael Smith, has family and dining rooms, a study/library and a breakfast area within the 3,508 square feet of interior space. French doors off the living room and office open to a garden with a fountain.
The master suite features a balcony for a total of four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a powder room. A staircase from the second-story master leads to the swimming pool and spa. Ivy covers the back of the two-story house.
Belushi, 60, appears this year in the miniseries “Show Me a Hero,” the film “Home Sweet Hell” and the sitcom “Serious Business” as well as the reality show “Building Belushi,” about the construction of his retreat along the Rogue River in Oregon.
He starred on the sitcom “According to Jim” (2001-09).
The “Saturday Night Live” veteran bought the property in 1986 for $660,000, public records show, and has been leasing it out in recent years. Celebrity Address Aerial spotted the listing.
Elisabeth Halsted of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is the leasing agent.
