SAG Awards 2014: Abigail Breslin learning to go with the glam
Abigail Breslin has been in the spotlight for more than a decade, so you’d think she’d have the red carpet thing down by now.
But the “Little Miss Sunshine” and “Signs” veteran, now 17 years old, said she still feels out of place at the glam functions.
“I always feel like the person who got invited as the plus-one,” she admitted. “I’m always terrified.”

Breslin was at the SAG Awards on Saturday as part of the “August: Osage County” cast, which was nominated for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture. The movie also picked up two individual acting nods, for Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.
On the awards trail, the actress said, she’d gradually begun to feel more comfortable around her megawatt costars.
“Julia is so sweet,” Breslin said. “I don’t ever feel like I can’t go to her with something.”
