Sheen on Lohan: A good girl, but ‘thanks for $100K’ wouldn’t hurt

Charlie Sheen thinks Lindsay Lohan is “a very good and decent young lady that is just going through a lot.”

But he does kind of wish she’d go through the process of saying thanks after he sent $100,000 her way.

“I’m still waiting for a text to say ‘thank you,’ ” Sheen lightheartedly told “Entertainment Tonight” in an interview set to air Monday. “Anything, you know?”

Sheen and Lohan worked together on “Scary Movie 5,” and when he learned she was having money troubles, he said, he decided to “pay it forward.”

“I wish her the best. She just needs a little bit of time,” Sheen said. “People need to give her time to get her ... to get her act together.” He also advised her to “lead with humor,” so folks won’t always see it if a situation is getting to her.

Maybe that appreciation just got lost in the hubbub lately, as Lindsay certainly has had a lot on her mind. In addition to the recent dust-up that got her arrested in New York on suspicion of assault, there are rumors that she’s struggling to pay $8,000-a-month rent on a home she leased in Beverly Hills.

So says TMZ, which also reported last week that the IRS had seized Lohan’s bank accounts because of outstanding tax debts to the tune of $230,000-plus for 2009 and 2010. And a bill for 2011 is reportedly lurking out there as well.

Having no access to bank accounts makes it a little hard to pay, well, anything. Still, saying “thanks” doesn’t cost a dime.
