‘Empire’ star Taraji P. Henson spotted holding hands with the NFL’s Kelvin Hayden

Looks like Cookie’s got a new man: Taraji P. Henson may be dating football player Kelvin Hayden.

The bikini-clad “Empire” star was photographed Monday holding hands with the NFL player while vacationing in Miami, according to People. She wore a printed Pucci bikini and he wore red swim trunks during their stroll, as seen in paparazzi photos that hit the Web on Monday.

Hayden, 32, currently a free agent, has played for the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts.

The single mom, 45, and Hayden had a romantic dinner date at Prime 112 on Sunday, Us Weekly said, with sources noting that they were “affectionate.”

Neither camp has publicly confirmed the romance, and Henson, who was recently named USA Today’s Entertainer of the Year, hasn’t posted about her Miami getaway on social media.

Her rep did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for comment.

The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated star told Harper’s Bazaar in August that she was single, but offered up what she looks for in a man.

“He is funny, has personality, he doesn’t take himself too seriously,” she said. “He needs to be confident in who he is, confident to let me be who I am. And let me shine, you know? My light is only going to enhance his light.”

In January, the breakout star also lamented to Wendy Williams that men “don’t court anymore.”

“Take me out to dinner! Say you’re gonna pick me up at a certain time! Dating should be an event, you know? You like the guy, so you want to get pretty for him, so you spend all day, and the spark [ignites]. Whatever happened to that?”
