Swanktown Live Actor, singer and ivory tickler Geoffrey Leigh Tozer celebrates the second anniversary of his award-winning SiriusXM radio show “Sly Crooner of SwankTown” with an hour of humorous stories and songs drawn from his impressive repertoire. Active Child Pat Grossi’s project is exceedingly unlikely — a former choirboy and harpist making some of the most adventurous electronic-infused music of recent note. His debut album, “You Are All I See,” sports falsetto vocals as pristine as mountain air, but his is a polyglot approach to arranging that makes room for massive drum machines and noisy synth pads alongside the ethereal harp. Robert Francis The son of pianist-composer Robert Commagere comes from a musical brood — his sister, Juliette Commagere, plays with the Bird and the Bee and releases her own fine solo work. So by the time he was 20, he had joined the family business with 2007’s “One by One,” a batch of warm and meticulous indie folk that snagged him a nomination for the Shortlist Music Prize. “Before Nightfall” came out in 2009, prompting National Public Radio to compare him to classic American songwriters such as Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle.
