Mink-lined Birkenstock-style sandals? Check. Fuzzy, wuzzy mink pumps? Check. The Celine runway show was all about such cheeky luxe lounge statements.

When it comes to fashion now, Celine designer Phoebe Philo has that je ne sais quoi. You only have to look at the fashion pack to know. Celine’s minimal color-block totes and smooth calfskin clutches are the It bags du jour -- small pieces of the polished, pared-down aesthetic that Philo has helped popularize, and which has now trickled all the way down to Zara.

So anticipation was high for Philo’s spring-summer 2013 collection, shown Sunday afternoon in a grand apartment on a leafy street near the Arc de Triomphe. Everyone wanted to see what she’d do next.

The look: Millionaire slouch. Luxe lounge wear, right down to those fur-lined sandals, which kind of look like haute Ugg bedroom slippers. Silk pants with the ease of pajamas. Twist-front satin T-shirts. Boxy cropped jackets. A navy blue racer back slip dress with a black fishnet inset at the V-neck and a raw-edge hem. A milky white silk trench coat-meets-dressing gown. Paper-bag-style fold-over leather clutches. Twist leather cuffs that will sell like hotcakes. A cream, gray, navy and black color palette with a few bright accessories.

The scene: A must-see show, so every editor in chief plus Kanye West, who has called Philo one of his favorite designers.

The verdict: A unique take on relaxed luxury for those who can treat a $2,000 T-shirt like it costs $10. Celine plans to open a store on Rodeo Drive in February.
