CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION

Chatsworth 7, Narbonne 3
Willie Cabrera and Matt Dominguez had home runs and Jason Dominguez (12-0) pitched his seventh complete game for host Chatsworth (32-0). Cabrera had two hits, including a three-run home run in the fourth inning that extended Chatsworth’s lead to 5-1. Dominguez had a solo home run later in the inning. Jason Dominguez had seven strikeouts and one walk.

Sylmar 15, Carson 5 (6 innings)
Ruben Zuniga had a three-run home run and a run-scoring double and Scott Cohen had a two-run home run for host Sylmar (20-11). Bo Napoleon had a two-run home run for Carson (17-15).

Sun Valley Poly 9, Los Angeles 6
Christian Arredondo had two run-scoring singles and Robert Parra (13-2) pitched a complete game for host Poly (25-6).

Granada Hills Kennedy 3, South Gate 2
Fabian Williamson (6-0) threw a seven-hitter with six strikeouts and went two for three with a triple, a run scored and an RBI and Chris Cervantes went two for three with a run scored to lead host No. 4-seeded Granada Hills Kennedy (22-10) past No. 13-seeded South Gate (19-12).

El Camino Real 3, Venice 0
Eric Boranian had a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning to break a scoreless tie and Eric Pettis gave up one hit and struck out five in six innings for third-seeded El Camino Real (23-8). Venice finished 18-13.

San Fernando 5, Palisades 3
Junior left-hander Steven Pujol allowed four hits with six strikeouts and added three hits for 11th-seeded San Fernando (14-16-1), which took a 4-1 lead in the fourth inning on an RBI double by Matt Navarez. Chad Lewis hit a two-run home run in the third inning for the Tigers. Dylan Cohen hit a solo home run in the first inning, Adam Franks scored on a triple by Alex Thompson in the fourth inning and Turhan Folse hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for sixth-seeded Palisades (20-6). Senior right-hander Geoff Schwartz allowed eight hits with three strikeouts in six and one-third innings for the host Dolphins.

Cleveland 5, Roosevelt 4
Freshman Andrew Lambo pitched five innings with nine strikeouts and Eric Bloom went two for three with a three-run home run to lead visiting No. 10-seeded Cleveland (19-12) past No. 7-seeded Roosevelt (22-6).

San Pedro 12, Fremont 0 (5 innings)
Senior Eric Thacker (11-1) pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and junior Steve Carillo had a grand slam in the fourth inning for host No. 2-seeded San Pedro (29-3). No. 15-seeded Fremont finishes 12-8-1. San Pedro will host Cleveland on Wednesday at 3pm.

INVITATIONAL DIVISION

Wilmington Banning 12, Garfield 2 (6 innings)
Sophomore Steve Correa pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts, junior left fielder Ruben Noriega went two for four with one triple and three RBIs and senior center fielder Frankie Arellano went two for two with one double, one stolen base and two runs scored for host No.1-seeded Wilmington Banning (14-13). Garfield drops to 7-24.

Westchester 10, L.A. Jordan 9
Max Steinberg drove in Reggie Foy, who stole his 34th base of the season to reach second base, with a single in the top of the seventh inning with the score tied at nine, Daryl Jones went two for three including a double, home run and had three RBIs and a run scored, Chris Valencia went two for five and drove in his 34 RBI of the season for visiting Westchester (11-17). L.A. Jordan finishes 10-12.

Birmingham 12, North Hollywood 2 (6 innings)
Steven McGrath went two for three, Henry Morquecho went three for four with two doubles and Nick Jones had a two-run home run to lead host Birmingham (15-16) past North Hollywood (11-12).

Monroe 4, Verdugo Hills 2

Bell 5, Fairfax 4 (8 innings)
Raul Landeros went two for three with a double and a walk, JovannyBramasco went three for four with an RBI and Juan Fausto singled inDanny Garcia in the bottom of the eighth to lead host No. 3-seeded Bell(23-8-1) past Fairfax (10-12). Sam Torres (7-1) threw a six-hitter withseven strikeouts for the Eagles.

L.A. Marshall 5, Grant 3
Danny De Santiago (8-4) pitched a complete game and had 60 strikes in 72 pitches, Nathan Rizzo went two for three including a double and three RBIs and Miguel Sanchez had the go ahead two-run single in the top of the sixth inning to lead visiting L.A. Marshall (16-16-1) over Grant (17-14).

Locke 4, Eagle Rock 3 (11 innings)
Junior Ramiro Sanchez pitched a seven-hitter, gave up two runs and had five strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings and junior Augustin Avila went two for five with one RBI and senior Jamel Wells went two for five with one RBI for visiting Locke (17-7-1). Darren Haskins pitched 10 innings with 13 strikeouts and Adrian Ortega had a solo home run for host Eagle Rock (15-9). Locke plays Granada Hills on Wednesday at Granada Hills at 3 p.m.

Granada Hills 10, Van Nuys 0 (5 innings)
Jeff Rodner (7-5) pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts for host Granada Hills (16-16). Derrek Perren had two run-scoring singles and Jordan Gold had a two-run double.
