Police asking for public’s help in North Hollywood homicide
Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding a man believed to be connected to a North Hollywood homicide, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Officers responded to a call in the 7100 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Saturday and found the body of a 39-year-old woman, said LAPD Officer Sally Madera.

Police are searching for Herman Escobar Archila, who has not officially been named a suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to contact North Hollywood homicide detectives at (818) 623-4016.
There have been no homicides within one mile of the incident in the last 12 months, according to data from the Los Angeles Times Homicide Report database.
