Police described the victim as a 44-year-old homeless man. Detectives were investigating the case, but a cause of death would be determined by the coroner’s office, the Laguna Beach Police Department said.
The hikers called authorities after finding the body around 8:30 a.m. on the Willow Canyon trail in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
