Manhunt underway in Mid-City for suspect who shot two detectives
Police are looking for a man who shot two Los Angeles police detectives outside of the Wilshire substation Tuesday morning.
The shooting occurred between 4 and 4:30 a.m. near La Brea Avenue and Venice Boulevard, officials said. The conditions of the officers were not immediately known. Both were being rushed to nearby hospitals.

A description of the suspected shooter was not immediately available. Intersections were shut down for several blocks around the immediate area, according to several media reports.
