Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near The Geysers
A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Saturday afternoon at The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0.6 miles. A similar quake occurred there earlier in the day.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Clearlake, 13 miles from Healdsburg, 16 miles from Windsor and 68 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
