Reader photo: Always, always take the shot

Share

That moment. We’ve all been there. When you pass by the perfect shot. You frame it in your head. And you only have about five seconds to decide.

Regret the missed shot or stop traffic, go back and make it happen.

For David Roberts, there wasn’t a question. “I was on a group ride heading downtown when this unique light and shadow design caught my eye,” the photographer said. “I turned around and set up the image.”

Roberts shoots with his iPhone 4 and prefers the morning and evening hours when “the light is low to the horizon and long shadows are cast.”
