Sketch released of man suspected of molesting boy in park bathroom
Police released a sketch Wednesday as part of their effort to identify a man suspected of molesting a juvenile in a South Bay park restroom.
Manhattan Beach police said the man approached the victim Friday in the men’s restroom at Polliwog Park before allegedly forcing him into a bathroom stall, where he fondled the boy’s genitals, KTLA reported.
The victim described the attacker as a white man in his 40s, with tan skin and mostly gray hair. The victim also described him as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build that was heavier around the midsection.
The man was wearing dark pants and a plain white T-shirt at the time of the attack, police said.
Anyone with information was asked to contact detectives at (310) 802-5125.
