Suspect in custody after deputy-involved shooting in Compton
One suspect was taken into custody after a deputy-involved shooting Tuesday in Compton, officials said.
The shooting occurred about 2:43 p.m. in the 300 block of Magnolia Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
No one was hit, and one suspect was taken into custody, according to the department. No deputies were injured.
The Departmental Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating the incident. No additional information was available, the department said.
