Football: Running back Darius Jones lifts Canoga Park
Quietly, Canoga Park is making its way toward a possible Valley Mission League title game against unbeaten San Fernando behind junior running back Darius Jones, who has rushed for 1,456 yards.
Canoga Park is 4-3 overall and 3-1 in league going into a Friday game against Panorama. A win and the Hunters will take on San Fernando next week for the league title.
Canoga Park has been able to overcome injuries thanks to the success of the pistol offensive formation.
