Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew allegedly punched a security guard in the face at a St. Augustine, Fla., bar and restaurant, according to a police report obtained by multiple media sources.

But the former UCLA star’s agent says no charges have been filed and denies that his client was involved in the alleged incident Sunday at the Conch House.

“We have confirmed with the St. Augustine Police Department that no charges have been filed against Maurice and that the matter is under investigation,” Adisa Bakari told NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport. “While Maurice was present when the events in question began, he quickly departed the premises immediately thereafter. Maurice was not involved in any physical altercation, whatsoever.”

The police report states that a scuffle broke out after a security guard warned a friend of Jones-Drew’s to keep his hands off a young woman. When the guard put his friend in a headlock, Jones-Drew knocked him out with a closed fist to the cheek, according to the police report.

Contusions and a bone bruise, but no broken bones, were found in the guard’s jaw.

“We are aware of the situation regarding Maurice Jones-Drew and are in the process of gathering more information,” the Jaguars said in a statement to NFL.com. “Due to this being a legal matter, we’ll have no further comment at this time.”
