New direct New York-St. Kitts American Airlines flights
American Airlines will be starting a new direct flight from New York to the island of St. Kitts beginning Nov. 18, 2007.
The flight will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from Kennedy Airport in New York, departing 10:45 a.m. and arriving in St. Kitts at 3:55 p.m.
The return flight will depart 5:05 p.m. from St. Kitts and arrive at JFK at 8:30 p.m.
St. Kitts, located in the northern Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, is home to a tropical rainforest, a scenic railway, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Brimstone Hill Fortress. In addition to beaches and water sports, the island also offers golf, shopping, tennis, a casino and accommodations ranging from plantation inns to larger hotels and resorts.
