Las Vegas: Super Bowl party can cost as little as a beer -- or $35,000

With the Super Bowl countdown underway, Las Vegas is preparing to welcome more than 310,000 football fans with parties to fit almost any budget.

The seemingly endless lineup of bars, clubs and restaurants in Vegas means you’ll find plenty of chairs, big-screen TVs and, of course, adult beverages.

One of the widest spreads of game-day packages may be at Surrender Nightclub at Encore.

The club offers packages with names such as the First Down, which includes a limited open bar for $100 a person, and the Hail Mary, which for $35,000 seats up to 20 and includes two buckets of Coors Light, a dozen Red Bulls, 12 bottles of water and one bottle of Armand de Brignac Champagne. Other options along Las Vegas Boulevard:

--Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, a newly opened restaurant in the Linq retail and entertainment district will serve up lobster tacos (two for $10, with a draft beer) and two-for-one house margaritas.

--Playing Field Lounge inside Planet Hollywood features 33 plasma screens and two jumbo TV screens on which to catch all the action. Tables for four are priced at $300 and $450.

--The Pub at Monte Carlo has an all-you-can-eat package for $60 and an all-you-can-eat-and-drink deal for $125. With more than 300 beers on the menu, the place promises plenty of alternatives to the popular brews sure to be plugged in Super Bowl commercials.

Vegas’ sports books are also expected to be packed over the weekend. Last year, gamblers in Nevada wagered just shy of $99 million, a record, on the big game, according to the state’s Gaming Control Board.
