An assault charge against former Houston Oilers...
An assault charge against former Houston Oilers and Ram quarterback Dan Pastorini stemming from an April 6 dispute with a Houston police officer was dropped when Pastorini pleaded guilty to public intoxication and agreed to pay a $200 fine. Pastorini was charged with assaulting officer C.W. Grant after police tried to arrest him when his wife, Dena Reeves Kindred, was stopped for speeding.
