The “When Can I See You Again” singer popped the question to Pantenburg after seven years together, Edmonds’ rep confirmed to The Times on Tuesday.

Edmonds, 54, also made the announcement in a BET interview with longtime collaborator Toni Braxton last Thursday when he and Braxton sat down for an interview about their joint album, “Love, Marriage & Divorce,” which they released earlier this month.

“So I guess the important question that everybody wants to know from you,” Braxton, 46, asked, “Would you ever consider getting married again?”

“I’ve already considered it,” the multi-Grammy winner said. “I’m engaged, so yes.”

“You’re engaged? I think your fans are going to be a little disappointed but equally happy for you,” she said, as if the announcement were news to her too.

Edmonds and Pantenburg, 40, are already parents to 5-year-old daughter Peyton Nicole. Babyface has two sons, Brandon and Dylan, with his ex-wife, Tracey Edmonds, whom he split with in 2005 after 13 years of marriage.

The Grammy-winning producer and Braxton, who had a high-profile divorce from Keri Lewis, both revealed intimate details about their respective splits in the interview and discussed lessons they’d learned.

“The main thing is being honest with yourself and being honest with your feelings,” Edmonds said. “When we’re not honest with ourselves, we just accept situations, don’t talk about them and, as you said, ignore the elephant in the room. You better recognize there is an elephant in the room and deal with it, because a lot of times the elephant in the room is the one that you put in there, so you have to deal with it.”

Edmonds and Braxton will perform “Hurt You” their latest single from the album, Tuesday night on “Conan.”
