Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon aren’t husband and wife, her father Bobby Brown’s attorney said Tuesday.

Whitney Houston’s 21-year-old daughter, who has been hospitalized since she was found unconscious in a bathtub on Saturday, told the world on social media in January 2014 that she and Gordon had tied the knot, and a rep — it’s unclear whose rep — reportedly confirmed the marriage to Gossip Cop.

However, attorney Christopher Brown of Borwn & Rosen LLC said Tuesday, “To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”

Their romance raised eyebrows given that the two had been raised together since Gordon was taken in by Houston at age 12. They are not related by blood.

“Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother,” the sole Houston heiress explained in a July 2013 Facebook post about their engagement. “My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you. A lot of yall are saying that yall are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy.”

Meanwhile, it remained unclear what had happened to Bobbi Kristina before she was found unconscious.

“We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina,” the attorney said in his statement.

Bobby Brown also reiterated his request for privacy so the family could “deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time.”

Bobbi Kristina has been moved from North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga., to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, TMZ reported Tuesday. The website cited a source who said the Houston and Brown families had been clashing over access to Krissy.

While local police told the Los Angeles Times that no drugs had been found “out in the open” in the couple’s home, they were seeking a search warrant.

Maxwell Lomas, the friend who reportedly called 911 while Gordon remained with Bobbi Kristina, was arrested on drug distribution charges last month, People reported. TMZ said cops found more than 5 ounces of marijuana, a couple of weed grinders, a digital scale and a lot of plastic baggies in his possession, in addition to a gun and illegally obtained Xanax.

Last July, after a picture that appeared to show her smoking from a bong, Houston’s only child denied using drugs.

The cause of singer Houston’s death on Feb. 11, 2012 — the night before that year’s Grammy Awards — was determined to be accidental drowning, with heart disease and drug use as contributing factors.
