Mama June and Sugar Bear -- parents to reality-TV child diva Honey Boo Boo -- have split up, at least for the time being.

June Shannon, 35, and Mike Thompson, 42, who met in 2004 and had a commitment ceremony last May, are “taking things day by day,” she said in a statement to People.

“Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship,” the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” matriarch said.

The parents of 9-year-old Alana Thompson, the precocious young beauty-pageant contestant who earned her family a show of their own spun off in 2012 from TLC’s “Toddlers & Tiaras,” met in an online chat room -- so the rumored reason for their breakup might not be a surprise.

Mama June found Sugar Bear repeatedly frequenting online-dating sites and was convinced he was cheating on her, sources told TMZ, which first reported the split. On what’s alleged to be his PlentyOfFish profile, he ironically has “spending time with family” listed right up there with hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers in the mud in a list of things he likes to do.

While Mama June has been photographed without a ring on her left hand, it’s unclear whether the two ever married at what was called a “commitment ceremony.” Remember, where the couple wore camouflage and bright orange as they walked down the aisle?

She’s considering packing up her three youngest girls and moving closer to relatives once “Boo Boo” filming has wrapped, TMZ said. Oldest daughter Anna Shannon now lives with husband Michael Cardwell and their child.
