A new trailer for the ninth season of “Doctor Who” has been released, and it features a few more looks at Maisie Williams.

Ever since the BBC announced that the “Game of Thrones” actress would guest star in the next season of “Doctor Who,” fans have waited for more news about what role Williams would play.

The show finally responded to the speculation when they released the first “Doctor Who” trailer during Comic-Con, teasing fans with a brief scene of Williams opposite the Doctor (Peter Capaldi).

Unfortunately, Williams doesn’t say anything new in this trailer, but it does feature a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cuts of her character, including a scene she shares with Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman).

“He hasn’t got a plan yet,” Clara tells Williams’ mystery character. “But he will have and it will be spectacular.”

While fans still don’t know what the plans are for Williams’ character, showrunner Steven Moffat has hinted that it will be spectacular.

“It’s a significant role,” Moffatt said during the “Doctor Who” TCA press presentation last month. “We’re not throwing her away. We’re not just getting star value and doing nothing with it. It’s a great part, and she’s terrific in it.”

The trailer also includes more familiar faces such as Missy and the Daleks, as well as glimpses of new monsters.

“Doctor Who” returns Sept. 19.
