Bieber manager Scooter Braun marries; Tom Hanks wins the reception

Scooter Braun, the talent manager who discovered Justin Bieber, is now a married man: He and fiancee Yael Cohen tied the knot Sunday in the company of more than a few famous friends.

“So much to say so much to share,” Braun said Monday on Twitter, linking to a wedding day picture on Instagram. “Will keep it simple. Best day of my life. I love you @yael #mywife.”

The shindig went down in Whistler, Canada, just about six months after the couple got engaged. Braun and the cancer-charity chief exec reportedly started dating early in 2013.

Given the groom’s occupation, the wedding entertainment made sense: How about Bieber serenading the couple with the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love,” which TMZ said happened during the ceremony, right after Braun kissed his bride.

How about Bieber and fellow Braun client Carly Rae Jepson hitting the stage together to sing her mega-hit “Call Me Maybe”? Of course, most of the guests chimed in as well, because that’s now the law when “Call Me Maybe” comes on.

Opportunity lost: South Korea’s Psy is another Braun client. Alas, he was not at the wedding — or there’d almost certainly be a clip of him doing “Gangnam Style,” which the guests would also sing along to, at which point the universe would have collapsed in on itself.

Getting back on track, how about Ed Sheeran singing as the newlyweds danced their first dance as a married couple? He did just that, according to E! News, though the chosen song wasn’t revealed. We’re just assuming his take on Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” came later.

The guest list also included actress Sophia Bush, who posted a wish to the bride Monday on Instagram.

“Congratulations to my beautiful bunny, the bride. @yael, you are one of the kindest, most intelligent, giving people I know,” the “One Tree Hill” star wrote. “I’m so happy you’ve found your other half. Here’s to a lifetime of love.”

All good, yes — though, truth be told, we preferred the “All You Need Is Love” bit from “Love, Actually” to the Bieber rendition.

That said, the wedding did have a winner: Mr. Tom Hanks.

Hanks, dressed like a rabbi with a yarmulke and prayer shawl, was caught on video dancing and singing along to “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan.

Yes, it was a Jewish wedding. No, Hanks is not Jewish. Nor is he a hip-hop singer.

Though in attendance, wife Rita Wilson did not join her hubby on stage for the epic moment.

Probably a good move.
