Britney Spears is Vegas-bound.

Just days after releasing her new single “Work Bitch,” the pop singer announced Tuesday morning that she’s set to begin a two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Spears, 31, revealed the news, which had been rumored for weeks, on “Good Morning America.”

“I’m definitely gonna do the greatest hits,” she said of the production, to be titled “Britney Spears: Piece of Me.” “But I’m gonna have to put some of my new material into it, just to keep it fresh.”

Spears’ gig, which follows similar engagements by Celine Dion, Elton John and Shania Twain, is scheduled to begin Dec. 27 and include 50 performances over the next two years. Financial terms weren’t released, though TMZ reported that Spears is set to make nearly $15 million a year for her work.

In addition to the Vegas announcement, Spears said Tuesday that she’ll release a new studio album -- the follow-up to 2011’s “Femme Fatale” -- on Dec. 3.
