The Almighty Johnsons Anders (Dean O'Gorman) sends Axl (Emmett Skilton) on an all-but-impossible mission in this new episode of the superhero series imported from New Zealand. Tim Balme and Roz Turnbull also star. 10 p.m. Syfy

Lawrence of Arabia David Lean and producer Sam Spiegel collaborated on this 1962 epic about World War I officer T.E. Lawrence (Peter O'Toole), the English officer who befriended the Saudi Arabians during their battle with Turks. Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn and Omar Sharif also star. 5 p.m. TCM

Austenland Keri Russell stars as a woman so profoundly affected by author Jane Austen work, she goes to an English theme park inspired by her novels, hoping to find a "Pride and Prejudice" style romance. Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Seymour and JJ Feild also star in this 2013 comedy. 9 p.m. Starz

Gallipoli Two Outback runners (Mark Lee and Mel Gibson) join Australian and New Zealand troops fighting on the British side in World War I in director Peter Weir's brilliant 1981 war drama. 9 p.m. TCM
