Watch live: Valentino live-streams its pre-fall ’17 collection this morning

Starting at 7 a.m. (of course, that’s 10 a.m. for you East Coasters), Italian luxury fashion brand Valentino will live-stream its pre-fall ’17 fashion collection from the Beekman hotel in New York.

The famed fashion brand appears to be having a high-profile week thanks to Emma Stone, who wore Valentino for the Golden Globes telecast.

The new pre-fall collection comes from designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino. Last year, Piccioli was praised for his first solo show at Paris Fashion Week as Valentino’s creative director. Attending that show were guests including the label’s 84-year-old namesake, Valentino Garavani, as well as Alber Elbaz and Piccioli’s longtime collaborator, Maria Grazia Chiuri, who’s Dior’s creative director.

On the runway, Piccioli showed 64 looks in yellow, pink and the brand’s signature red, according to Vogue.com, covering daytime looks and eveningwear.

And what to expect in this pre-fall collection? Perhaps Stone’s recent Valentino looks hint at the answer in terms of color or silhouette. (A likely guess would be a selection of frocks and other pieces in vibrant shades of red or pink.)

On Sunday, Stone wore a light pink Valentino gown with a plunging neckline that was covered in metallic silver stars (designed by Piccioli) on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.

The “La La Land” star, who picked up the award for best actress in a comedy or musical, also wore a red-and-pink Valentino gown from spring/summer ’17 on the cover of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair magazine.
