BB Dakota is having a sample sale Sept. 21 and 22 at the store in Costa Mesa at 1638 Pomona Ave. Sample-sale pricing includes leather items for $50 and blazers for $10. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Sept 21 and 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Sept. 22.

L.A. Kids Consignment is hosting a sale of clothing, toys, bikes, furniture and more. The sale will take place Sept. 20 to Sept. 23 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily) at 157 W. Providencia Ave., Burbank, CA 91502

Michael Kuhle & Dylan Eckman from Epaulet will host a trunk show and meet and greet at the Standard downtown Sept 22. Time TBA.

The Humane Society is putting on its H Couture Fashion Show on Sept. 22. “The Vampire Diaries’” Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto will host the show, which will feature H Couture’s latest fur-free designer menswear and women’s wear. The red carpet starts at 7 p.m., and festivities run until about 9:15 p.m. at the Mark for Events at 9320 W. Pico Blvd. For tickets, visit www.humanesociety.org/h-couture or call (310) 440-0600. Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society’s fur-free campaign and the Hollywood outreach program.

Saks Fifth Avenue has launched At&T; Wi-Fi at all 44 of its retail locations nationwide. The goal is to connect shoppers with useful mobile tools such as the Saks Fifth Avenue app, which offers shareable wish lists, fashion look books, event calendars and more. The department store first launched AT&T; Wi-Fi at the flagship location in New York City in November 2011.
