John Galliano went on the “Charlie Rose” show Wednesday night and said that when he made the anti-Semitic comments that got him fired as creative director at Christian Dior he was in an alcohol blackout and that he must have been channeling dancer Rudolf Nureyev: “Around the time of that event, I was heavily researching for my John Galliano menswear collection, which was inspired by the life of Rudolph Nureyev, who was an anti-Semite.
