Los Angeles Police Department detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old man in North Hollywood.
The shooting occurred about 9:15 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Saticoy Street and Bellaire Avenue, authorities said.
When officers arrived, they found a male lying face-down on the corner with a gunshot wound, the LAPD said in a statement Monday.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No motive has been established, the department said.
There have been no other slayings within a one-mile radius of Sunday’s incident during the last 12 months, according to the Homicide Report, The Times’ online database.
