Friday’s top prep football games

Gardena Serra (2-1) at Harbor City Narbonne (1-1), 7 p.m., Time Warner Cable: It could be a shootout in the South Bay, with two top-10 teams that deploy no-huddle offenses and lots of fast, athletic skill-position players. Serra will rely on quarterback Khalil Tate. Narbonne has quarterback Roman Ale and big-play running back Sean Riley. The team with the fewest turnovers and penalties should win. The pick: Narbonne.

Norco (2-0) at Mission Viejo (4-0), 7 p.m.: Norco has had two weeks to prepare for the Diablos, who started their season last month in Hawaii and have taken no breaks. The Mission Viejo defense was at its best last week in knocking off La Habra, 24-14. Another challenge will be stopping Norco’s versatile quarterback, Victor Viramontes. The pick: Norco.

Long Beach Poly (2-0) at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman (3-0), 7 p.m.: Bishop Gorman is ranked No. 1 in the nation by several publications. Poly’s defense will have to deal with the scrambling Tate Martell, Bishop Gorman’s junior quarterback. Malik Henry, a Florida State commit, has been cleared to play for the Jackrabbits and is expected to make his debut at quarterback. The pick: Bishop Gorman.
