Yes, Santa Ana Mater Dei sophomore running back Shakobe Harper can thank Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant for his first name.

Shakobe honors both former Lakers.

But Mater Dei Coach Bruce Rollinson said, “He hates to be called Shaq.”
