Earthquake: 4.0 quake strikes near Lakeview, Ore.
A shallow magnitude 4.0 earthquake was reported Wednesday afternoon 43 miles from Lakeview, Ore., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:50 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 7.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 43 miles east-southeast of Lakeview.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
