Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Idyllwild
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Monday morning six miles from Idyllwild, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:42 a.m. PST at a depth of 3.7 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 11 miles from Valle Vista and 14 miles from Hemet.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
