60 Freeway shut down after possible officer-involved shooting
All westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were shut down Wednesday night east of Azusa Avenue in the San Gabriel Valley after a possible officer-involved shooting, the California Highway Patrol said.
The shooting may have involved a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy from the Industry station, according to the CHP.
Officer Alex Rubio told the The Times that it unclear when the lanes would reopened on the busy westbound freeway.
No other details were immediately available.
