101 closed in both directions as big-rig crashes in Westlake Village
The 101 Freeway was closed in both directions in Westlake Village on Sunday after a fiery collision involving a big rig, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 9 p.m. near the Lindero Canyon Road exit, according to Officer Monica Posada of the California Highway Patrol.
It was not immediately clear how many other vehicles were involved.
Callers reported a fire and possible spilled cement, Posada said.
Posada said she could not give estimates on when the freeway may be reopened.
