Bicyclist is killed in a hit-and-run in Sun Valley
A bicyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run late Thursday evening near the 5 Freeway in Sun Valley.
First responders with the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene at 8558 N. San Fernando Road shortly after 8:35 p.m.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No identification has been released.
The Los Angeles Police Department is gathering information about the driver, who was reportedly in a red Dodge vehicle.
