Glendale police are looking for a man who led officers on a car chase while driving a stolen vehicle early Wednesday morning.

At about 2:10 a.m., an officer tried to stop the motorist for traffic violations, said Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

The man pulled over at San Fernando Road and Glendale Boulevard and a passenger hopped out. The motorist drove on, Lightfoot said.

He eventually stopped at Edenurst and Rigali avenues and ran into a small park.

Officers then set up a perimeter. Los Angeles police were called in and searched by helicopter. Still, the motorist wasn’t found.

The passenger, however, was found and arrested at La Clede Avenue and Glendale Boulevard.

The driver remains at large.
