Police say they are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Canoga Park this week as a "domestic violence murder."
Authorities were called to the 21900 block of Roscoe Boulevard about 1 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of a man and woman, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The couple were apparently married and had a child, police said. The woman, referred to by police as a 30-year-old victim, sustained several fatal unspecified injuries, they said.
The male, 40, "died of an apparent suicide," according to the LAPD, which referred to him as the suspect.
Detectives determined that their deaths were the result of domestic violence, police said.
