Two men face burglary charges in Glendale after they allegedly dressed as women and stole four bottles of baby formula from a drugstore, police said.
The men -- identified as Samuel Frank, 28, of Glendale and Darrin White, 20, of Long Beach -- entered a Rite Aid store at 531 N. Glendale Ave. on Saturday dressed in women's clothing, police said.
A security agent saw the men put two cans of Enfamil baby formula in their purses, the Glendale News-Press reported. After they exited the store without paying for the items, the agent stopped the suspects and notified police.
A search of Frank's vehicle revealed 24 Enfamil cans scattered on the floorboard, 10 of which were allegedly stolen from Vons, according to police.
Officers also found the agent's backpack and clothes, which the men also allegedly took, discarded under the vehicle, Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said.
A third man, Edward Nino, 25, of Long Beach, was arrested outside the store after officers reportedly found a check and pay stub belonging to the security agent that had been in his backpack. Nino also had a warrant out for his arrest, Lightfoot said.
