Reader Photo: A day at the zoo
A trip to the Los Angeles Zoo is always delightful, especially when you get to take your daughter, but the trip gets even better when you get a picture like the one Russo Mutuc made.
The light and the shadows made by the setting sun created the perfect frame for young Leah to pass through. And the candid, fleeting moment of the little lady makes for a timeless and dramatic moment. This photograph is also a nice example of thinking beyond the portrait and creating lasting family memories. It’s something I imagine Leah will cherish and admire when she’s a grown woman.
Mutuc made this using a Nikon D80 and converted the image to black and white using Lightroom.
