Reader Photo: Right place, right time, for sunshine

Share

On a quiet morning in Placerita Canyon State Park in Santa Clarita, photographer Nancy Dushkin found herself in just the right place at just the right time to capture the rays of some early sunlight.

“The sun was already up but it was still fairly low. I turned around and I saw the sun filtering through the trees,” said Dushkin of West L.A.

By the time she finished shooting a few minutes later, the effect had disappeared.

Dushkin used a Nikon D800 and a wide angle lens to make the image.
