Police are looking into the death of a man found on a Hollywood sidewalk, authorities said Sunday.
A passerby called police about 10:50 p.m. Saturday to report that the man was lying unconscious outside a building at the intersection of El Centro Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. Police said the man appeared to be homeless
“The man had a wound to his upper torso,” said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Herrera.
She said it was unknown whether the man was shot or stabbed.
He was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
